We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (PHP) to join our team at Wallex. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing high-quality software solutions using PHP. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
- Write clean code to develop functional web applications
- Troubleshoot and debug applications
- Manage cutting-edge technologies to improve legacy applications
- Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server side logic
- Gather and address technical and design requirements
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Liaise with developers, designers and system administrators to identify new features
- Follow emerging technologies
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience as a Software Developer
- PHP & Laravel
- Redis
- MySQL
- OOP and Design Patterns
- Git (Source Control)
Requirements
- Strong experience in PHP development and proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience with PHP frameworks like Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter
- Knowledge of relational databases like MySQL
- Understanding of MVC architecture and familiarity with software development principles
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment and strong communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
