What You'll Do

  • Architect and Innovate: Design, implement, and maintain scalable, high-performance systems.
  • Develop APIs: Develop robust, secure, and efficient APIs, enabling seamless integration and data access.
  • Solve Complex Problems: Tackle deeply technical challenges, balancing trade-offs to deliver secure and compliant solutions that meet our customers' needs.
  • Champion Engineering Excellence: Lead efforts to refine and advance our engineering practices, ensuring our codebase is high-quality, secure, and performant.
  • Mentor and Grow Talent: Share your expertise with less experienced engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with designers, product managers, and other engineers to deliver products that exceed customer expectations.

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in object-oriented programming with a track record of delivering impactful software.
  • Proficiency in a modern web application stack, such as Python/Django, Node/Express, or Java/Spring, similar to the stacks used by leading SaaS companies.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, designing and deploying scalable, resilient cloud architectures.
  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases, with a keen understanding of when to use each.
  • Expertise in building and deploying applications using Docker.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery tools like Jenkins, streamlining the development lifecycle.
  • Proven experience in API design, development, and documentation, ensuring seamless data flows and integrations.
  • Strong communication skills, conveying complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
