MongoDB’s mission is to empower innovators to create, transform, and disrupt industries by unleashing the power of software and data. We enable organizations of all sizes to easily build, scale, and run modern applications by helping them modernize legacy workloads, embrace innovation, and unleash AI. Our industry-leading developer data platform, MongoDB Atlas, is the only globally distributed, multi-cloud database and is available in more than 115 regions across AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure. Atlas allows customers to build and run applications anywhere—on premises, or across cloud providers. With offices worldwide and over 175,000 new developers signing up to use MongoDB every month, it’s no wonder that leading organizations, like Samsung and Toyota, trust MongoDB to build next-generation, AI-powered applications.
The Kubernetes teams develop software that makes using MongoDB in or from Kubernetes so frictionless that we are the de facto choice for a database in cloud-native applications. We are enabling database-as-a-service experiences for MongoDB users on Kubernetes. We are responsible for three Operators, Atlas, Enterprise, and Community (OSS), that allow our users to deploy fault-tolerant, globally distributed MongoDB clusters in minutes, in the cloud or on-premise.
We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Hosted Operator team that builds tooling to automate the management of MongoDB resources in Kubernetes for Enterprise Advanced and Community users. As part of the team, you will propose, design, build and support product features. We are looking for passionate, intrinsically motivated software engineers who consistently work to grow their skills and want to take their careers to the next level. No prior experience with MongoDB technologies is required! During interviews, you will meet most of our team and have the opportunity to ask questions about working at MongoDB. We pride ourselves on our team's culture and on being an inclusive and collaborative group that Builds Together.
This role can be based out of our Amsterdam office or remotely in the EMEA region.
To drive the personal growth and business impact of our employees, we’re committed to developing a supportive and enriching culture for everyone.
