About us:

Grow Therapy is on a mission to serve as the trusted partner for therapists growing their practice, and patients accessing high-quality care. Powered by technology, we are a three-sided marketplace that empowers providers, augments insurance payors, and serves patients. Following the mass increase in depression and anxiety, the need for accessibility is more important than ever. To make our vision for mental healthcare a reality, we’re building a team of entrepreneurs and mission-driven go-getters. Since launching in February 2021, we’ve empowered more than ten thousand therapists and hundreds of thousands of clients across the country and insurance landscape. What You’ll Be Doing:

We are looking for a Senior Engineer on Grow Therapy’s Internal Tools team to create software to enable our departments to scale efficiently as our business grows. The Internal Tools team will partner with departmental leads and other key stakeholders to understand and address their current pain points.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Enabling business workflows from various departments using appropriate and pragmatic tooling
  • Creating internal apps in Retool that communicate with Grow’s back-end services
  • Optimizing dashboards for performance using observability tooling, adding pagination, decreasing DB query times, and more
  • Evaluating build versus buy and comparing vendors for solutions

The salary range for this position is $168,000 - $220,000 USD.

Please note, Grow Therapy adjusts base salary based on geographic location, leveling, and experience, so your compensation could land anywhere within the posted range.

You’ll Be a Good Fit If:

  • You have 4+ years in engineering. You’ve made pragmatic engineering decisions, and have proven your technical skills in industry.
  • You were previously on an Internal Tools team or supported internal customers/stakeholders, and enjoyed it!
  • You have full-stack web development experience with a lean towards back-end development. You’re excited to write Python, a bit of JavaScript, use Postgres, and delegate to vendors when needed.
  • You enjoy thinking critically about trade-offs between solutions, while considering the overall team goals and company goals.
