About your role 

You are going to work on the heart of the Diligent One Platform; we are looking for new colleagues for the following products:   

  • Enterprise Risk Management: Diligent provides organizations with an integrated approach to monitoring and mitigating risk, so leaders can focus on driving success, not avoiding disaster. You can learn more about Diligent Risk here

Position Overview 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Software Engineer in Test candidate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, particularly in automation, and will be responsible for translating the customer requirements to test plans and ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through meticulous testing practices.  

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Technical Guidance: You will provide technical guidance to other test engineers and review the automation design and tests. 
  • Collaboration: You will work closely with our Product Owner in defining the stories, user flows and planning the future deliverables with in-scope testing activities.  
  • Automation: You will automate new test cases and existing manual tests with a maintainable automation framework. 
  • Team Player: You are a team player, who shares their knowledge and has fun in learning modern technologies and concepts to continuously improve our team and processes.  
  • Defect Analysis: You will assist the team in the Defect Root Cause Analysis process to reduce defects effectively and work on providing responses to customer defects, troubleshooting, and creating development actions. 
  • Continuous Testing: You will work with tools to ensure continuous test runs, Reporting and Response time Monitoring for the pre-defined user flows. 

 

Required Skills: 

  • Programming Proficiency: Proficiency in programming languages preferably TypeScript. 
  • Automation Tools: Strong knowledge of any Automation tools (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, Cucumber) and Automation Frameworks. 
  • SDLC Knowledge: Good understanding of SDLC and Web application testing. 
  • API Testing: Understanding of Rest APIs and Test techniques for the same. 
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills in English. 
  • Proactive Attitude: Self-driven and proactive attitude. 

 

Expected Experience  

  • Experience: You have 5+ years of experience in implementing and designing enterprise software testing solutions with multiple automation frameworks.  
  • Leadership/Mentorship: You have technically led and mentored a team of QAs; you know how to set up QA automation processes on a project, and you are not afraid to do so.  
  • Test Planning: You have created Test plans and driven technical decision making. 
  • Analytical Mindset: You have an analytical mindset and can grasp complex concepts easily.  
  • Manual Testing: Willingness to contribute to the Manual testing process occasionally.
