Senior Software Engineer in Test

Join our team as a Senior Software Engineer in Test, where you'll play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions. You'll design and implement automated test frameworks and work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to create comprehensive test strategies, identifying potential issues early in the development process. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in both test automation and manual testing, with extensive expertise using Playwright to validate applications. • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Proven ability in sales, customer service, and delivering results under deadlines.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Expertise in prioritizing and delegating tasks effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and similar software.
• 5+ years in software testing, specializing in automation and manual testing.
• Advanced skills in Playwright for web application testing.
• Strong background in JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL, and release management.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, integrating automated tests, and Agile methodologies.
• Proficient with Git, Jira, and other development tools. 

Your day to day will include:

• Designing and developing automated test frameworks, tools, and infrastructure to support CI/CD.
• Creating, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts for functional, regression, performance, and scalability testing.
• Collaborating with developers to review code, provide feedback, and ensure quality from the start.
• Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects, and working with the team to resolve them promptly.
• Analyzing test results and providing insights to improve software quality.
• Mentoring junior test engineers and fostering a culture of quality within the team.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design test plans and contribute to product roadmap discussions.
• Continuously improving testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Staying updated on the latest trends and best practices in software testing.
