Hi, we're Oscar. We're hiring a Senior Software Engineer I, Payment Integrity to join our Engineering team.

In this role, you will work directly with the Chief Architect and top-notch engineers to develop a cutting-edge claims system at the core of the most innovative company in healthcare. You will be responsible for scaling our claims system to adjudicate 10+ million claims per day, enabling new levels of analytical decision-making. You will leverage machine learning to identify fraud, waste, and abuse in claims, improving system integrity and enabling cost-saving measures. You will solve large-scale technical problems, from optimizing data processing pipelines to ensuring high system reliability and performance.
You will work alongside some of the best engineers in the industry in an environment that fosters collaboration, innovation, and engineering excellence. You will partner with senior business leaders and the Chief Architect to deliver high-impact, high-visibility projects that shape the company’s direction and strategy. Pay Transparency:
The base pay for this role is: $158,400 - $207,900 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar’s unlimited vacation program, company equity grants, and annual performance bonuses.

Pay Transparency: Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience.
