WorkWave Team is looking for innovative software engineers who want to be part of a team of creative and talented individuals. Our teams are a mix of technologists, product managers, development engineers, and UI/UX designers, all working together to deliver our vision. You will be a part of our WorkWave team, helping to develop & support the WorkWave products
Responsibilities
- Responsible for developing Java-based backend and client-side code for robust, high-volume, and scalable production applications.
- Maintain our current existent Java web-based system
- Designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and delivering high availability and performance
- Contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle
- Writing well-designed, unit-tested, performant code
- Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Science

2 - 5 years of hands-on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms
- Experience in developing web-based applications using frameworks like Spring, JBoss, Play Framework, JSF
- Experience with unit testing frameworks and methodologies like JUnit, Mockito, and Parameterized tests
- Knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL, and Java ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
- Knowledge of React, Angular, Maven, Gradle, or other JS development would be an added advantage
- Knowledge of Agile software development processes and tools like Jira
- Experience in Linux-based environments
