What you’ll do

Doctolib is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Financial domain. You will join a new team with a critical mission to build a scalable Billing Platform that will be used by Doctolib practitioners! 

You will be part of a completely new team that is now in the making.. Together with the team, your goal will be to create a whole new platform for Billing, which will be used by practitioners in every country Doctolib is!  You will focus on several bricks, introducing all the necessary tools to share the bill and provide both patients and practitioners with all the necessary documentation for every payment  sent and collected. This is a great chance for you to join an international team, whose features will impact all of the Doctolib products in multiple countries! 

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define and implement features to improve healthcare access for patients
• Be a key player in identifying and determining the technologies that will help Doctolib continue to scale
• Implement from scratch different features in React (TypeScript/Javascript) and Java or Ruby on Rails
• Bring your expertise and past experiences to help us continuously improve the way we design, implement, test and monitor high-quality features
• Work in a team of highly skilled engineers who are focused on delivering quality and performant code

Who you are 

We’re on the lookout for a professional who is proactive, involved, curious, and collaborative.

• You have 4+ years of Software engineering experience
• You are a full stack developer with good knowledge of both backend and frontend
• You can mentor and coach Junior Devs thanks to your efficient communication
• You have experience with either Java or Ruby on Rails and you have experience with React
• You have a “user first” mindset and want to build a product focused on bringing value to its users, through secure, well-tested and pragmatic code
• You are very focused on code quality and have a rigorous testing culture; TDD approach would be appreciated
