Senior Software Engineer

WORKING LOCATION: Bangalore

eLIMS SLTH is based on ASP.NET CORE + Angular and now is implementing for IBL – CPT SLTH Labs globally.

The main objective of this position is to develop and maintain system functions, provide daily support to business.

The candidate is expected to: 

1. Deliver high-quality eLIMS software by oneself and together with the team.
2. Develop different kinds of report and reporting templates for different labs.
3. Provide L1/L2 supports for business applications, using a ticketing system or by mail.
4. Test the new features and existing applications.
5. Collaborate with users, business analysts, application architects, deployment team(s) to design and build fit-for-purpose functions.
6. Develop working relationships within the wider Eurofins IT community and with internal customers.
7. Embrace Agile practices.

Personal Skills: 

1. Very good English communication and interpersonal relation skills in an international environment.
2. 3+ years’ development experience on ASP.NET MVC, MS SQL Server.
3. Self-motivated and driven to achieve professional success in end-client environment.
4. Willing to learn new technologies, processes and functional areas.

Initial Education Background: 
1. Bachelor Degree or equivalent in IT. 
2. Software Development curriculum is preferred.

Technical knowledge:

1. High Experience of ASP.NET or ASP.NET Core, and EF or EF Core.
   1. Proficient in XML/JSON operation, serialization and deserialization.
   2. Familiar with ORM and LINQ.
   3. Familiar with service contract, route.
2. High Experience in MS SQL programming.
3. Experience with Visual Studio environment.
   1. Proficient in using IDE, such as VS2017/2019 or VS Code.
   2. Familiar with Source code management tool, such as TFS
4. Experience JavaScript, HTML, CSS and Front-end MVC is a plus.
   1. Know about Front-end framework, such as Angular or React.
