Senior Software Engineer - ETL Developer

Job Description :

Essential Skills

  • Design, develop, and manage ETL workflows to integrate data from various sources into PostgreSQL databases.
  • Develop scripts and queries to extract data from multiple sources, transform it to meet business requirements, and load it into PostgreSQL.
  • Collaborate with data architects to design and implement optimized data models and schemas for efficient querying and storage.
  • Monitor and optimize ETL jobs and PostgreSQL queries to ensure minimal downtime and high performance.
  • Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure data integrity throughout ETL processes.
  • Document ETL processes, workflows, data transformations, and data lineage for transparency and reproducibility.
  • Design and develop dynamic dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, and Amazon Quicksight to visualize data and provide actionable insights.
  • Implement row-level security on dashboards and reports to ensure data confidentiality and compliance with data governance standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements, understanding the client and business needs to deliver tailored data solutions.

Utilize cloud platforms for data analysis and ensure that all data practices are compliant with industry standards for data security and accuracy.
