For this role, we have partnered with an Employer of Record (EoR) vendor which allows us to collaborate with contingent professionals across different regions. Please note that for this position, you will be employed directly by our EoR who will be responsible for all employer obligations, including payroll, benefits, and local HR support, and you will be contracted out to Komodo Health. Our recruitment team will elaborate on this further in our introduction conversations.
The Opportunity at Komodo Health
This position is an opportunity to develop and innovate for a set of foundational microservices that undergird the Komodo Health application platform.
The Core Services team is tasked with providing authentication (RBAC), data authorization, and subscription management to enforce tenant configurations for all applications. Core Services develops the orchestration system, running fault-tolerant workflows that power key platform capabilities. As such, this team develops functionality that is critical to a secure and performant experience with our products.
While this role is backend-focused, collaboration with cross-functional teams is a key aspect of the position. You will work closely with frontend developers, system architects, security experts, data engineers, and product owners to ensure our services meet the highest standards of usability, performance, security, and scalability.

Komodo Health has a hybrid work model; we recognize the power of choice and importance of flexibility for the well-being of both our company and our individual Dragons. Roles may be completely remote based anywhere in the country listed, remote but based in a specific region, or local (commuting distance) to one of our hubs in San Francisco, New York City, or Chicago with remote work options.
