We are actively seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer for our Skimlinks brand, to help us advance our technology stack and product development endeavours. The Senior Backend Engineer reports to the Senior Director, Engineering at Skimlinks and is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side logic and infrastructure that powers Skimlinks' platform. This role involves working with various programming languages and frameworks to build robust, scalable, and efficient systems. The engineer ensures data integrity, implements APIs, and integrates with third-party services to support front-end functionalities and business operations. They also focus on optimizing performance, enhancing security, and managing databases. Additionally, a Senior Backend Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams, mentors junior developers, and contributes to architectural decisions and strategic planning to drive the company's technological growth and innovation.
