The Role:
- Take part to the development and the maintenance of a deployed banking software
- Write technical designs (conception, architecture, data model)
- Develop and maintain the platform (coding)
- Identify and resolve incidents.
- Delivering high quality, bug free software
- Assisting operations (incl. support, delivery, and pre-sales) with subject matter expertise when needed
- Solving customer issues
- Actively participating to all Agile/Kanban ceremonies
- Providing a transparent reporting to the team, especially during daily stand-ups
- Helping other team members to achieve their commitments
- Sharing knowledge, proposing, implementing improvements and new development tools
What will make you successful:
- Working experience in software development.
- IT Master’s Degree or equivalent such as Engineering school, HES…
- High understanding of all phases of SDLC, experience in working with Agile methodology.
- High understanding of complex software (> 1.5 million lines of code).
- Strong/proven coding experience on backend technologies in C language and shell script
- Hands-on experience with Linux and Git
- Coding experience in Java and JEE
- Experience with ant would be an advantage
- Experience with SQL (Oracle) would be an advantage
- Working knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Bitbucket, GitLab, Jenkins and ArgoCD
- Be aware of Non-Functional Requirements.
- Strong analytical, algorithmic and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent oral, and written communication skills (English and French).
