About the Role:

The initial focus of this role will be within the API & Analytics team focusing on the powerful platform API. As part of the Global Engineering group – a business unit inside Altium with a mission to build the electronic industry’s developer platform of tomorrow – we will enable our partners and the wider electronics ecosystem to develop in an unprecedented way, driving a new era of automation and intelligence for the electronics industry.

Who you are:

What you’ll need for this position:
- Have worked for 5+ years in software development, having been exposed to complex problems and having played significant roles in the design and implementation of large software systems.
- Have experience across different programming paradigms and languages, with a focus on OO software design and implementation; ideally you worked with C#
- Possess a strong conceptual and analytical mindset, being able to think in an abstract context and articulate, explain and sell ideas and approaches to other stakeholders.
- Have experience in designing intent-based APIs to common standards.
- Have experience leading other engineers working toward a common goal and understand what is important to ensure people align to achieve a great outcome.
- Have experience with cloud-first system design and infrastructure, having built, deployed and maintained applications and services on providers such as AWS.
- Have a sound understanding of common technology stack components, including but not limited to RESTful services, relational database systems and ORM frameworks.
- You should hold a Bachelors / Masters / Doctorate Degree in information technology, engineering or a related field.
