Senior Social Media Manager

And to top it all off you’re ready to turn your exquisite meme game, vivacious vertical video talents, and delightful copy towards driving a brand forward that makes a real difference to early childhood worldwide.


Sound familiar? Then we want you. We’re looking for a Social Media Manager (yes, you!) to make sure that as many nursery and childcare owners, directors, and parents know that Famly is the only brand to listen to on social.


And who are Famly? We’re on a mission to close the collaboration gap in early childhood. So we’re building the world’s most collaborative Early Childhood Platform - software for the adults in a young child’s life to connect, share their workload, and learn about early childhood. Basically, Famly makes life easier for educators and families so that they can get back to what matters.


By heading up social and content distribution at Famly you’ll be working with our talented team of content creators, designers and copywriters to make Famly the most famous voice in early childhood on social. And oh yes, you’ll be making plenty of social content along the way. You’ll be defining channel strategy, translating our voice, tone and brand strategy to social, and making boatloads of memes. This is an opportunity to really take full mandate of a meaningful company’s social accounts and make them your own.


With regards to location, we’d really love you to join Famly here at our Copenhagen HQ.

What you'll be doing:

  • Make, write, shoot and post lots of great content that engages our audience

  • Define our channel strategy so we know where we show up and how, including brand and founder/exec accounts

  • Define how our approach best suits our different audiences across the US, UK and Germany.

  • Exploring influencer relationships and what this could mean for Famly

  • Coordinate more ambitious content with our videographer, designer, content creator, and copywriting colleagues

  • Work out how we identify, comment, and become a part of the conversations on all the biggest accounts in our space

  • Work out how to best handle and operationalise inbound support together with our customer teams

  • Share insights and ideas with our content creators based on the conversations and topics you’re seeing on social

  • Supporting our content managers to ensure their work is seen by as many people as possible through social

  • Supporting in strategy around distribution related to email, influencer, events and more.

  • Working with the rest of the brand and comms team on PR strategy for big campaigns

  • Staying on top of key social metrics, including reporting to the rest of the marketing team on progress
