Senior Social Media Manager

Are you an experienced social media specialist? Do you have a strong knowledge of multiple sports? Are you a strategic thinker who can interpret performance data and collaborate with internal stakeholders? DAZN may be the place for you!

As Senior Social Media Manager at DAZN you will be an integral part of executing our social media strategy. You will work across all social platforms and with a variety of teams including Subscriptions, Sales, Marketing, Editorial and Production. You will plan coverage of major events, create content sports fans love and work with a data-driven approach.

We promote live matches, documentaries, shows and interviews – maximising our social reach whilst engaging users in our best-in-class content. You will work across a wide range of sports including boxing, basketball and more.

This job supports our French platform. You will take part in daily meetings where you’ll bring your own creative ideas to the table. You’ll live-clip and live-stream multiple sports events, coordinate sales obligations, work closely with production and design teams, shoot content on site and – ideally – be able to handle the basics of video editing when required.

As our new Senior Social Media Manager you will:

  • Collaborate on business needs with our publishing, creative, subscriptions, media and communications divisions as part of our France Social Media team.
  • Plan, create and post content on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok and Snapchat, leading the team's input across France.
  • Brief in unique video content and manage the process with our production teams.
  • Provide on-site coverage at select live events, gathering content and shooting interviews.
  • You will also work remotely to live-clip events and must be comfortable with weekend work.
  • Work directly with athletes and sponsors to create and distribute content to their fans.

You'll have:

  • Experience working in social media, either for a broadcaster, publisher or agency.
  • Knowledge and working experience across a variety of sports. 
  • Fluent written French to a high editorial standard with English language skills.
  • Analytical thinking and the ability to draw actionable insights from performance data.
  • Excellent ability to work at speed and communicate with multiple teams on a daily basis.
