About you:
We are looking for a senior social & activation strategist that has a passion for pop culture, technology, and social media. From TikTok's to Tweets, we want someone who can take an idea from the concept to client presentation, and quickly to people’s feeds. We are not just looking to make filler content, we want to make fun, witty, unexpected work that gets noticed. The kind of content you want to see in your feed.
Key responsibilities:
- You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams across the German, EMEA and our Global network
- You will work with all areas of the business, and you will be responsible for framing ideas within a well thought-through strategy – a true planner and creative at heart
- You will independently craft insights-led, digital & creative strategies for both B2B & B2C clients that capture audience's attentions, inspire behavior change and make a real difference to our clients' businesses
- You will be the partner of crime for the creatives and are bridging the gap between strategy, consumers & creatives (with never forgetting a bit of spark / confetti 😊)
- You will identify digital, cultural trends and translate them into insights to inspire projects, the creative team or digital thought leadership
- You will write campaign & creative briefs with strong springboards as jumping off point for the creative team
- You will influence, educate, and inspire colleagues and clients to think differently
- You will lead a team of mid & junior social strategists and understand how their day-to-day work plugs into the bigger business objectives
- You will translate inputs from junior digital team members into outputs that become client facing
- You will be speaking to, representing and upselling our social and content offering around Active Brands and B2B Social
- You will be a Change / Innovation driver: with a clear taste for the changing environment and requirements in Tech (immersive worlds: e.g., VR/AR/Metaverse etc.; Gaming; AI; etc.), Social & Digital
- The role, the business same as the digital and social landscape are constantly evolving and changing, hence you need to be on your toes to not keep up but lead the change whilst staying passionate, hungry, and agile to adapt
Essential requirements:
- Deep understanding of social media best practice and digital culture across key apps – TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, Meta, X, YouTube, and LinkedIn
- Trends and Insights Geek paired with out of the box thinking
- Experience working on both digital and social projects
- Experience independently leading projects and new business pitches in a digital role
- Proficiency at writing deck narratives and telling stories
- Technological and Creative Mind
- Deep understanding of Research, Data, and Insights to drive Business impact
- Confident presentation skills that enable you to speak on behalf of the Social and Digital team in client meetings
- Self-driven and passionate about your work, wanting to make a difference
- 8+ years with experience in Social / Creative Agencies
- Fluent in German and English
