Neara is a high-growth, venture-backed Series B, tech company headquartered in Sydney, Australia. We work with 75% of the utilities in Australia and New Zealand and are growing rapidly across the US and Europe. Our mission is to revolutionise the utilities industry by helping them future-proof their infrastructure and navigate the challenges of the clean energy transition. Our 3D digital network model enables utilities to simulate various scenarios and make informed decisions to protect their assets and communities.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer, who excels in working independently and is backed by a robust skills foundation in Cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes and infrastructure programming. You will be the primary source of technical support for our US and EU team, working to improve the reliability of our SaaS platform, both through issue resolution and by introducing preventative measures. We’re looking for a deeply-technical, hands-on engineer, who loves to develop automation and tooling through software to ensure delivery of mission critical solutions and services.
Our training is fast-paced, designed to enable you to work independently and confidently not only with the software but the wider company. Joining Neara means tackling real-world challenges head-on, and immersing yourself in a work environment characterised by high-paced innovation, transparent communication, and impactful contributions.
