Windward is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) Implementation Specialist to lead complex implementations for both government and commercial clients. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical expertise and exceptional customer-facing skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end ServiceNow SPM implementation projects for diverse clients
- Design and develop custom solutions within the ServiceNow platform, focusing on SPM modules
- Conduct workshops with clients to articulate the value of SPM solutions
- Provide expert-level support and technical mentoring to internal and external stakeholders
- Manage platform and infrastructure to ensure smooth operation of Project and Portfolio Management processes and Strategic Portfolio Management processes
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g., FedRAMP, DoD IL-4/IL-5)
- Collaborate with functional teams and lead technical solution design sessions
- Contribute to process improvement and documentation
- Perform advanced troubleshooting, bug fixes, and root cause analysis
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Active Secret clearance preferred
- Minimum 5 years of IT software consulting experience, with 3-5 years specifically in ServiceNow implementations
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting
- In-depth knowledge of Project and Portfolio Management and Strategic Portfolio Management concepts and best practices
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience in implementing ServiceNow SPM for enterprise clients
- Expertise in software discovery, normalization, reconciliation, and optimization processes
Required Certifications
- Certified Implementation Specialist – Strategic Portfolio Management (CIS-SPM)
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
Preferred Qualifications
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer Certification
- PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- ICAgile or equivalent Agile certification
- Experience with government contracts and implementations
- Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid development methodologies
- ITIL v3 or v4 Certification
- Additional ServiceNow certifications in areas such as ITOM, SecOps, GRC, or ITSM
