Role Responsibilities:
- Respond fast to security incidents, be the leader of a security incident investigation and coordinate efforts between various teams
- Improve and expand detection and alerting of security incidents to ensure efficient & effective response
- Contribute to security incident response processes & best practices
- Collaborate with various teams to implement detection use cases and runbooks to properly handle occurring security incidents
- Work together with teams across the company to build and automate security incident handling workflows
- Continuously improve and monitor our security incident detection and response workflows
- Prototype new technologies for security incident detection and response
- Contribute to a 24x7 coverage for security incident response in a global team with a follow the sun model
- 4+ years of experience in security operations / engineering
- Technical studies related to security engineering or equivalent professional experience
- Experience in analyzing security incidents and threats (especially in hybrid cloud environments)
- Experience in development and software architecture (cloud, Kubernetes) is a plus
- Hands-on team player with great communication skills (even in time critical situations) and an "automate everything" mindset

Compensation and rewards
- We offer attractive compensation packages and stock purchase options with numerous benefits and advantages.
- Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is € 56,800 gross per year based on full-time employment (38.5 h/week). We offer a higher salary in line with qualifications and experience.
