Senior Salesforce Engineer - Remote

ULTRA MOBILE is seeking a talented Senior Salesforce Engineer to join the Tech Ops Team! Individual reports to Director, Implementation. Role is remote; must reside in the United States.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Senior Salesforce Engineer will play a key role in the development and management of all SalesForce related software. With extensive knowledge of the SalesForce platform, apex code and API’s, they will help with the development and the successful execution of the SalesForce roadmap.

Take the lead in developing, maintaining, and reporting on an array of software platforms and help ensure seamless collaboration between both business departments and engineering teams. Having a strong business acumen combined with an engineering mindset will be instrumental in driving innovative solutions and solving complex problems. The ability to foster cross-channel collaboration and effective communication is crucial in this role. 

Your usual day of awesomeness includes:  

  • Technology: Responsible for learning, developing and implementing new software solutions to assist our operations and sales teams, along with working on a diverse set of software platforms with all cross-functional teams.
  • Project Management: Oversee the end-to-end implementation of projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Cross-Channel Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between business departments and engineering teams, facilitating effective communication and collaboration. Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, gather requirements, and translate them into actionable technical plans.
  • Business Acumen: Develop a deep understanding of business processes, products, and services. Use this knowledge to identify opportunities for process improvement, optimization, and innovation.
  • Problem Solving: Analyze complex technical and business problems, employing a creative and analytical mindset to identify optimal solutions. Proactively address issues and roadblocks that may arise during project implementation, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to operations.
  • Innovation: Drive innovation within the implementation engineering team by encouraging new ideas, exploring alternative approaches, and leveraging emerging technologies. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and exploration of cutting-edge solutions.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across business departments and engineering teams. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback, understand requirements, and manage expectations throughout the implementation process.

  • Microsoft Excel/Google Docs platforms and scripting.
  • MySQL
  • Mssql
  • Bitbucket
  • GIT
  • Visual Stuido
  • SalesForce API and general SaaS API stacks.
  • As well as integration with the entire company's SaaS tech stack.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 10+ Years of analyst or business management experience.
  • 7+ years in wireless; sales/operations/technical operations/care.
  • 4+ years of experience with Jira development (cloud instance preferred) preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience with Salesforce Admin/Developer with emphasis on SalesForce, SalesCloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, Flows and automation, SOQL, and Apex language preferred.
  • SalesForce Admin Certificate, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II,Salesforce Certified JavaScript Developer I,Salesforce Certified Application Architect
  • Salesforce Certified Development Lifecycle and Deployment Architect along with intensive knowledge of DevOps utilizing Git and bitbucket
  • Self-direct and ability to take the lead when necessary.
  • Ability to analyze raw data and identify opportunities.
  • Basic understanding of monitoring/reporting on software platforms.
  • Advanced troubleshooting and fault isolation skills.

In support of the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the range of starting pay for this role is $125,000 - $140,000.  This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, education, certifications, responsibility, and geographic location.  We also offer a variety of benefits including health, disability insurance, 401 (k), flexible spending accounts, EAP, education reimbursement, parental leave, unlimited vacation, bonuses, and company paid holidays.  The specific programs available will vary depending on state, start date, and employment type.
