As the Senior Sales Manager your pivotal role involves driving student enrolment success. You strategically manage your business unit, ensuring an engaged, high-performing team. Leveraging data trends, you inform well-informed strategic planning and decision-making. The Senior Sales Manager fosters a culture of inclusion and drives achievement of business unit-wide targets.
Key Accountabilities (not limited to the following):
- Performance obsessiveness – act as the student operations subject matter expert within your cross-functional team to monitor and drive performance.
- Be a collaborator - be a strong collaborator and communicator with account management, marketing, student success, and partners to strategise performance goals and processes.
- Commercial acumen - understand BU strategy, including KPIs, OKRs, and levers to maximise desired outcomes.
- Student Acquisition Strategies - formulate strategic initiatives by utilising data analysis to inform innovative and effective student-centric sales strategies.
- Performance and development - guide and develop your leadership team to meet study period targets, by setting clear expectations, providing constructive feedback, and supporting professional growth.
- Talent focus - know your talent by identifying your high performers and potential risks to inform recruitment decisions.
Education
- Higher education or similar
Experience
- Proven track record in a sales-oriented setting, showcasing expertise in sales methodologies and tactics.
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to a performance-driven culture, with a drive for exceptional results.
- Demonstrated coaching experience.
- Proven ability to effectively build and manage cross-functional stakeholder relationships.
- Ability to use data driven decisions to drive strategic operational performance.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, rapidly evolving work environment.
- Experience within the Education Industry is highly valued.
Technical
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Employs systems and reporting tools to oversee and guide strategies and operations.
- Demonstrates superb abilities in verbal and written communication, as well as interpersonal leadership and coaching skills.
- Self-driven and proactive, willingly assumes accountability.
