What you'll do
You will have responsibility to work with other sales team members to identify client needs, explain technical and functional aspects of any products and services being offered, and manage internal processes that are important for a successful sales process. You will prepare technical presentations explaining products or services, assess your client's needs and document their technical requirements, and provide sales support as an expert in the industry. You will also have mastery of the solutions that Experian offers and provide technical and business consulting expertise on complex Experian projects. This is a remote position based anywhere in the United States. You will report to the Fraud Sales Engineer Leader.
- A minimum of 5 years experience as a Sales Engineer (or Technical Sales/Support)
- Familiar with Experian's fraud solutions products and services
- Experience of competitors' fraud and authentication products and services
- Knowledge of typical fraud strategies and concerns in the marketplace
- Knowledge of regulations relating to the use of data for fraud and authentication purposes (both FCRA and GLB)
- Experience working with Red Flag, Patriot Act and other compliance obligations
- Actual client-based work using Experian's fraud tools or competitor's solutions
- Advanced project management skills
- Develop presentations and other client-facing materials
- Work as part of an integrated sales team
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- Ability to travel approximately 20% of the time for external and internal meeting
