We’re seeking a Sales Engineer to join the CAIS Solutions Team. Reporting directly to the Head of Solutions, this high visibility position will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by providing technical expertise, and solution recommendations to large and sophisticated clients across the financial services industry – including Asset Management and Wealth Management.
As CAIS’ first sales engineer for our holistic alternatives operating system, this key position must bring a deep understanding of our client’s needs, industry trends, and the broader ecosystem of vendors and platforms. You will leverage your expertise to cultivate and drive sales opportunities with an enterprise mindset. You will work directly with the sales team to understand the needs of our customers, strategize on how to navigate winning sales cycles, support enterprise Proof of Concepts, and ultimately close business. You will also collaborate cross-functionally with product management, engineering, and implementation/delivery teams to ensure successful customer engagements that drive business objectives forward.
Ideal candidates share CAIS’ passion for transforming the alternative investment space, thrive in a dynamic environment and have the flexibility and willingness to jump in and get things done. You are entrepreneurial, process-driven, and can build relationships with business & technology buyers. You are equally comfortable in both a business and technical context, interacting with executives and talking shop with technical audiences.

CAIS’ compensation package includes a market competitive salary, a performance bonus, and exceptional benefits. If you are located in New York, New York, the base salary range for this role is $150,000 - $215,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
