Overview

The Senior Sales Enablement Specialist partners with key internal stakeholders to create and maintain advanced enablement strategies and programs.  The Senior Sales Enablement Specialist creates and maintains sales enablement content meaningful product training to employees, customers, and partners including self-guided tutorials, use case training, in-app guides, train-the-trainer programs, and virtual webinars. The Senior Sales Enablement Specialist is responsible for supporting the go-to-market teams by providing them with the resources, tools, training, and support needed to improve their performance and close more deals. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for helping others succeed.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive sales enablement programs and initiatives.
  • Partner with key internal stakeholders to create and maintain sales enablement content meaningful product training to employees, customers, and partners including self-guided tutorials, use case training, in-app guides, train-the-trainer programs, and virtual webinars.
  • Conduct regular training sessions on new products, pitch decks, sales techniques, and best practices.
  • Analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas of improvement, and partner with sales leadership to implement strategies to address these gaps.
  • Identify sales performance metrics to assess the impact of sales training and initiatives, and make data-driven adjustments to optimize impact and results.
  • Contribute to identifying appropriate software to centralize training materials and content (LMS).
  • Develop world-class training programs across new hire onboarding, sales management training, and future learning and development initiatives
  • Work with internal teams, including sales, product, marketing, and support, to capture, illustrate, and deliver best practices.
  • Ensure new hires are trained and proficient in product knowledge, messaging, the competitive landscape, sales processes, and tool adoption.
  • Coaches and mentors other Sales Enablement Specialist.

 

Qualifications 

Minimum Qualifications  

  • 5+ years’ experience in sales training and enablement.
  • Proven ability to run effective sales and employee training, either live or virtually.
  • Experience with training in both digital platforms and mobile technologies.
  • Experience creating instructional content and presenting in both 1:1 and group settings.
  • Demonstrated success executing curriculum planning for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success in training full-cycle AE’s or demonstrated past success as a full cycle. AE with a “coaching” mindset.
  • Advanced analytical skills and proficiency in interpreting complex data.
  • Expertise using CRM systems, sales enablement platforms and other relevant tools.
  • Proven ability to translate technology into compelling stories.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field.
  • Prior sales experience.
  • Heavy LinkedIn presence with a personal brand.
  • Experience working with Fortune 500 level customers.
  • Strong public speaking experience.
