As a Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer at Robusta, you will be at the forefront of building innovative web applications for our diverse clientele. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using Ruby on Rails.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Troubleshoot and optimize application performance and reliability.
- Conduct code reviews and maintain coding standards within the team.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance our development processes.
Requirements
What we are looking for:
- Strong experience with Ruby on Rails and a solid understanding of its principles.
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Experience in developing RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
- Familiarity with database systems, preferably PostgreSQL or MySQL.
