ispace Technologies, US is a looking for a highly motivated and talented Senior RF Communications Engineer to join its new team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and develop Lunar Lander RF Communications architecture and requirements
- Partner with GNC, Flight Software and Systems Integration to develop on-orbit and lunar surface CONOPs as it relates to uplink and downlink communication
- Develop and manage RF link budget across all phases of the mission
- Support design and analysis for packaging of RF assemblies including CAD work
- Participate in all program milestones including trade studies, design reviews, software and hardware-level test, and on-orbit operations
- Create electromagnetic simulation models of hardware (antennas, filters, PCB layout) to design and evaluate performance
- Other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
- BS in electrical engineering, computer engineering or physics. We will consider an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
- Extensive experience in design & optimization of RF circuits and structures including antennas, transmission lines, filters, impedance matching networks, couplers, power splitters and combiners, phase shifters, amplifiers, receivers, and transmitters.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in launch vehicle and/or spacecraft Avionics systems
- Experience with simulation and programming tools (ex. Matlab/Simulink, C++, Python)
- Ability to perform RF communication design and analysis tasks, and support mission operations
- Familiarity with project management tools, including Atlassian
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering or physics. We will consider an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
- Demonstrated professional experience in launch vehicle and/or spacecraft RF Communications
- Ability to solve complex problems in a fast-paced collaborative interdisciplinary team environment
- Experience with 3D CAD (Solidworks, NX, or similar) and electrical schematic capture software
- Extensive experience with Matlab & Simulink
- Strong interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
- Experience working for Aerospace/Space Prime or sub-contractor strongly preferred
- Experience in startup environment a plus
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive salary based upon experience - $145,000 - $165,000. The salary posted is a targeted range for budget of position. Base compensation can be negotiated and will be commensurate with experience, skills, education, and training.
