Senior Revenue Operations Manager

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Revenue Operations Manager to lead the design, implementation, and administration of our global sales compensation programs. You'll play a critical role in driving sales performance by creating and optimizing incentive plans that motivate, measure, and reward our talented Sales teams. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role requiring strong analytical skills, collaboration, and a passion for driving results.

What you'll do

  • Compensation Plan Design & Optimisation: Develop and continuously improve innovative and effective sales compensation plans across all SumUp regions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and sales strategies.
  • Financial Analysis & Insights: Partner with Sales leadership and FP&A to provide in-depth analysis of compensation plan performance, including budget vs. actuals, ROI, and other key metrics. Deliver strategic recommendations for plan adjustments and improvements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication: Lead change management initiatives related to compensation plan updates, collaborating effectively with Sales leadership, Revenue Operations, People Partners, and Works Councils. Ensure clear and transparent communication of plan details and rationale to all stakeholders.
  • Compensation Plan Expertise & Documentation: Maintain a deep understanding of all sales compensation plans across the organization. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation to ensure clarity and consistency in plan administration.
  • Performance Reporting & Analysis: Define and deliver insightful reporting packages that enable Sales and Revenue executives to effectively monitor trends, ratios, and KPIs related to sales performance and compensation.
  • Payroll Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Payroll Operations to ensure accurate and timely processing of sales commissions.

You'll be great for this position if 

  • You have proven experience in the sales and compensation domain, preferably in sales operations, revenue operations, or finance in SaaS companies.
  • You have knowledge of data, Tableau, SQL and strong Excel skills
  • Effective communication and presentation skills to convey proposals and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • You have experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines.
  • You have great analytical skills and strong business acumen.
  • You’re self-driven, proactive, pragmatic and have a can-do attitude.
  • You enjoy solving complex problems, taking a broad and long term perspective to identify solutions
