Are you ready to rethink your routine? We’re looking for a Senior Retail Marketing Manager to join our vibrant Marketing department. Reporting into the Marketing Director, the Senior Retail Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic retail marketing plans to drive sales and brand visibility to our Trinny London Community and customers.

This role plays a pivotal role in elevating brand visibility, increasing customer engagement, and ultimately boosting sales. Our Senior Retail Marketing Manager sits at the intersection of marketing, sales, and customer experience, with a strong focus on creating impactful marketing campaigns that resonate with target audiences across various channels, including digital platforms, in-store experiences, and traditional media. Success in this role demands creativity, strategic thinking, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with teams like merchandising, operations, and sales.

The Role 
Your daily to-dos might look like this:

Develop and Execute our Retail Marketing Strategy:

  • Develop trade marketing strategies for our owned stores and key retail partners in alignment with our brand strategy.
  • Identify key market trends and consumer insights to inform trade marketing plans.
  • Create innovative trade marketing programs and promotions to drive sell-through and maximize brand visibility in retail channels.

Channel Management:

  • Build strong relationships with retail partners and key stakeholders to ensure alignment on brand positioning and promotional activities.
  • Negotiate and manage trade marketing budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to drive ROI.
  • Monitor and analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and optimisation within each channel and to drive our community growth across multiple channels.

Visual Merchandising and In-Store Activation:

  • Collaborate with the Creative Team and Head of Store Design to align on compelling visual merchandising solutions and in-store activations that showcase our products and drive conversion. Share 360 for consistency and alignment across all marketing functions.
  • Provide guidance and support to retail partners on merchandising best practices and brand guidelines to ensure consistent brand representation across all touch points.

Marketing Collateral and POS Materials:

  • Oversee the development and production of marketing collateral and point-of-sale materials to support trade marketing initiatives.
  • Work closely with external vendors and agencies to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials that meet brand standards and objectives.

Performance Analysis and Reporting:

  • Track and analyse the performance of trade marketing campaigns and promotions, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, summarizing key metrics, trends, and actionable insights.

Requirements

These skills will help you go far in this role:

  • Demonstrable experience managing the retail/trade marketing strategy for a luxury retail business, ideally beauty
  • Experience managing a team
  • Experience working in a multi-channel environment, also with owned stores and concession/wholesale partners
  • Knowledge and ownership of budgets and ROI
  • Strong internal and external stakeholder relationship-building
  • Ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment
  • Start-up / scale-up experience is a bonus
