Responsibilities: 

• Perform materials and characterization and testing on a variety of automated systems
• Perform materials synthesis via a variety of methods
• Document experimental procedures, results, and analyses in a clear and organized manner
• Assist in the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment
• Contribute to the development and optimization of new materials and processes
• Collaborate with team members to support ongoing research projects and initiatives

• Fast study: capable of replicating a lab process after observing once and adapting to new methods quickly
• Voracious learner: eager to learn about new scientific domains, instruments, and approaches

• Excellent communication skills: able to clearly articulate findings and collaborate effectively with colleagues

Qualifications:

• B.S. in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related role
• 2-4 years industry experience working in a materials or chemistry lab
• Experience with materials synthesis and characterization techiques
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
