Allegro Group is seeking two Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialists to join our Regulatory Affairs team focused on Poland and the CEE region. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping critical legislation, including postal, customs, logistics, and tax laws, as well as the AI and tech-related legislation. You will monitor legislative proposals, develop analytical documents to facilitate engagement, and implement significant legal changes, providing essential regulatory support and insights for domestic and CEE outreach as well as for our Brussels team which is at the forefront of EU stakeholder outreach.
Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist – Postal, Customs, Logistics, and Tax
What does this role involve?
- Analyzing and monitoring legislation related to postal, customs, logistics, and tax, and preparing analytical documents to support Allegro’s legislative engagement.
- Evaluating the impact of new legislation on various Allegro business lines and departments, sharing insights with relevant internal teams.
- Preparing detailed analyses, reports, and memos explaining the implications of new legislation for Allegro Group Companies in Poland and the CEE region.
- Identifying and mapping relevant business units affected by the legislation and gathering their feedback for position papers.
- Actively participating in working groups of business and trade organizations to influence the legislative process.
- Developing briefing documents for the EU Regulatory Affairs team for meetings with European Commission working groups and stakeholders in Brussels.
- Creating talking points and briefings for Executive Team members for external meetings and public engagements.
Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist – AI and Technology
What does this role involve?
- Analyzing and monitoring legislation concerning artificial intelligence, the AI liability directive, the European Digital Identity Framework, and related tech laws, and preparing analytical documents to support Allegro’s engagement.
- Assessing the relevance of AI and technology-related legislation across Allegro’s business lines, products, and departments.
- Preparing comprehensive analyses, reports, and memos detailing how new legislation will impact Allegro Group Companies in Poland and the CEE region.
- Identifying and mapping relevant business units potentially affected by the legislation and collecting their insights for position papers.
- Engaging in the legislative process by participating in working groups of business and trade organizations.
- Creating briefing documents for the EU Regulatory Affairs team for meetings with stakeholders and European Commission working groups.
- Preparing and delivering presentations, primarily internal, related to AI and technology-related legislative proposals and initiatives.
This is the right job for you, if
- Have over 3 years of regulatory experience, either in-house, with an agency, or in a government role.
- Proficiency in English at a minimum C1 level,
- Possess a strong understanding of the Polish legislative process; familiarity with the EU legislative process is an asset.
- Have experience navigating the legislative processes and with the analysis of legal proposals.
- Are prepared to & enjoy participating in working groups within business organizations and international forums.
- Demonstrate clear and effective communication skills.
- Are flexible, adaptable, and reliable.
