About the Role:
Guardant Health is already helping thousands of cancer patients and we are seeking an energetic professional Recruiter with Life Sciences experience. You’ll work closely and partner with hiring managers and HRBPs to source, assess and hire talent for Guardant Healthcare. You’ll ensure a high level of internal and external customer satisfaction while creatively attracting candidates from varying fields and levels of experience. You’ll be a key business resource dedicated to providing on-site direction, guidance and coaching to our managers. We’re looking for a collaborative, business focused leader. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
● Own the “full desk” of recruiting including attracting, screening, assessing and hiring talent. Drive all local recruitment up to and including senior management.
● Build and execute hiring strategy and practices in line with corporate goals and culture.
● Ensure hiring process is followed and make recommendations to enhance the candidate or hiring manager experience, while maintaining high quality and acceptable time to fill rates.
● Utilize various recruiting sources such as Employee Referrals, social media, job boards, etc. Understand where to find talent, while limiting the use of outside agencies.
● Collaborate with client groups and hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and goals
● Facilitate interview and hiring discussions with interviewers and hiring managers
● Drive offer process - including extending offers, closing candidates, and generating offer letters
● Answer TA/Recruitment related inquiries to internal or external seekers.
● Coach and train hiring managers and interview teams in interviewing and assessment skills.
● Drive the brand as an employer of choice through efficient and proactive recruitment.
● Partner closely with HR Business Partners, Recruitment, and Compensation to ensure headcount, budgets and hiring activity is current.
● Create recruiting status reports to allow transparency to our partners in the business.
● Cultivate and maintain relationships with passive candidates for direct recruitment and vendors.
● Be aware of and adhere to local regulations where related to recruitment.

Hybrid Work Model: At Guardant Health, we have defined days for in-person/onsite collaboration and work-from-home days for individual-focused time. All U.S. employees who live within 50 miles of a Guardant facility will be required to be onsite on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. We have found aligning our scheduled in-office days allows our teams to do the best work and creates the focused thinking time our innovative work requires. At Guardant, our work model has created flexibility for better work-life balance while keeping teams connected to advance our science for our patients.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $83,400 to $133,400. The range does not include benefits, and if applicable, bonus, commission, or equity. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries across all US locations for the posted role with the exception of any locations specifically referenced below (if any).
For positions based in Palo Alto, CA or Redwood City, CA, the base salary range for this full-time position is $111,200 to $150,100. The range does not include benefits, and if applicable, bonus, commission, or equity.
Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including, but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. If you are selected to move forward, the recruiting team will provide details specific to the factors above.
Employee may be required to lift routine office supplies and use office equipment. Majority of the work is performed in a desk/office environment; however, there may be exposure to high noise levels, fumes, and biohazard material in the laboratory environment. Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
