Senior React Native Engineer, Engagement Alliance (m/f/x)

The role

As a Senior React Native Engineer, you’ll join a cross-functional team building features to empower key internal users at HelloFresh to develop and plan the products millions of customers will get access to across our dozen-plus markets. You will develop engaging user experiences iteratively using modern technologies with focus on accessibility, scalability and maintainability.

What You’ll Do

• Work in a cross-functional team with a product owner, engineers, designers and analysts;
• Help to enable your product team to iterate fast and learn about our users by planning, building, testing and launching features;
• Collaborate with engineers across your department and the company to continuously improve our code base, systems and processes;
• Design and develop solutions that can continue to scale;
• Coach and mentor other team members through workshops, pair programming, and code reviews;
• Contribute to recruiting by attracting, reviewing and interviewing candidates.

What You’ll Bring

• You have at least 2 years of experience working with React Native
• You have at least 5 years of experience working with HTML, CSS and JavaScript;
• You have experience with component based architecture using React.js and Node.js
• You have extensive experience on binding frontend and backend services together;
• You have experience testing and improving your code through CI/CD pipelines and unit, integration and end-to-end testing;
• You have experience working in cross-functional teams, using agile frameworks;
• You can interface very well with product designers.

Interacting with front-ends, designers, product managers and our teams around the world is very much part of our day-to-day, so communication skills are important.
