The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building mobile applications using React Native and a deep understanding of the mobile development lifecycle. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our mobile applications to ensure a seamless user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development & Maintenance:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications using React Native.
- Implement robust and scalable code that meets the highest industry standards.
Leadership & Mentorship:
- Provide technical leadership and mentor junior developers.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality products.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings, contributing to planning, estimation, and delivery.
Performance Optimization:
- Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability.
- Debug and resolve performance issues and bugs.
Innovation:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Advocate for and implement new technologies and practices that enhance the development process.
Testing & Deployment:
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
- Manage deployments to the App Store and Google Play.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of professional experience in mobile development, with a significant portion in React Native.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React Native.
- Strong understanding of mobile app architecture and component design.
- Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or MobX.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and SDKs.
- Knowledge of native build tools, like XCode, Gradle (Android Studio, IntelliJ).
Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CI/CD tools and processes.
- Knowledge of mobile security best practices.
- Experience with other mobile frameworks or languages (e.g., Swift, Kotlin).
- Contributions to open-source projects or a personal portfolio of projects.
