Our Opportunity

As a Senior R&D Operations Program Manager, you will play a strategic role in leading and overseeing complex Product Operations programs within R&D. You will also support R&D Leadership in a vast array of topics including Product Planning process, Product Strategy, Product Data or Process Optimization. Reporting directly to the Senior Director, R&D Operations, you will be responsible for scoping and delivering large-scale initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful project outcomes. This position requires a seasoned professional with years of relevant experience, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive program excellence.

You’ll Spend Your Time:

  • Leading on product planning process (Shape Up cycles, ensuring planning is reflected in Vision & Value map), assist in the development and execution of the product strategy by ensuring focus on the most critical initiatives and alignment between the product roadmap and the overall business strategy.
  • Lead on scoping, planning, and delivering large projects end-to-end within the R&D domain.
  • Drive the development of optimal solutions through effective coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Working closely with Software Engineers, Product Managers, and other Strategy & Operations teams (FinOps, Sales Ops, SE Ops, etc) and other teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality products and features through the software project lifecycle.
  • Managing project schedules, identifying potential issues, and communicating them clearly to project stakeholders.
  • Coordinating communication between internal and external teams, vendors, and partners. Providing key stakeholders with full visibility of the program schedule, progress, and potential roadblocks.
  • Streamlining development, launch, and iteration processes. Improve workflows, establish best practices, ensure that tools and technologies are used effectively.
  • Evaluating, implementing, and managing tools and technologies that support the product development process (e.g, use Aha! for Roadmap Planning, Triaging Customer Ideas, creating Reports and Analyses). ​​Collect, analyze, and leverage product metrics data to make informed decisions.
  • Training and enabling PMs to enhance their skills and knowledge, developing resources and delivering training.

What You’ll Need:

  • 6+ years of relevant experience in product operations, product development, program management or engineering roles, with a proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex projects.  
  • Knowledge and experience of Aha! and Jira.
  • Advanced skills in multitasking, prioritization, and managing complex projects or programs in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate resources effectively.
  • Advanced ability to synthesize and present complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences, including senior leaders and stakeholders. 
  • Ability to analyze, design, and refine complex stakeholder processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Ability to identify and analyze complex problems, determine root causes, and propose innovative solutions with a strategic mindset. 
  • Proficient in evaluating the potential impact of solutions on broader organizational goals.
  • Understanding of go-to-market dynamics and stakeholder-specific programs.
  • Proficient in data visualization to effectively communicate insights and trends to various stakeholders.
  • Ability to identify gaps in existing technology and suggest a resolution path.
  • Capable of delivering impactful presentations to executive leadership and effectively influencing decision-making processes.
