Senior R2R General Ledger Accounting Expert (m/w/d)

  • You will be responsible for preparing the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements of group legal entities in accordance with IFRS and German GAAP (HGB), ensuring their timely and accurate submission to the Group.
  • You will support the entities and provide advice to stakeholders from an accounting and process perspective .
  • You will proactively improve accounting processes and drive, supported by other experts, the implementation of solutions for optimizing and harmonizing processes.
  • You will act as the point of contact for the assigned unit, auditors, tax advisors, authorities, and other internal and external stakeholders.
  • You have a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance, Accounting, Auditing, Tax or a similar field, or a comparable education, combined with several years of relevant professional experience in Accounting functions.
  • You possess strong knowledge of HGB and IFRS accounting standards, and ideally (German) tax law.
  • You demonstrate excellent analytical skills, a high level of engagement, and an independent and structured approach to work.
  • You have comprehensive experience with SAP R/3 in the FI module.
  • You perceive changes due to increasing digitalization as opportunities to actively contribute and share your ideas. This is supported by your strong interest in processes and systems in the financial accounting area.
  • You are proficient in English, both written and spoken, and feel comfortable in an international environment. Good German language skills are additionally required for that position.
  • You exhibit excellent teamwork skills, are reliable, and have a strong results-oriented mindset.
  • You already possess of a permanent work permit valid for Germany. The position is based in Waiblingen, Germany. If you are based outside of Germany, relocation is expected.

This position is located in Waiblingen, Germany. For applicants currently located outside of Germany relocation is a must.
