Senior Quality Engineer

Why this role matters:

As a Senior Quality Engineer at Vonage you will technically drive the product roadmap, and be responsible for guiding a team of highly talented software engineers and will have end-to-end ownership of the product from an engineering perspective. Your job would be to empower and drive the team to deliver a quality cloud product that is scalable, highly available and is flexible enough to grow and change along with the ever changing demands of the business.

We are looking for a responsible and highly technical QA that can lead a quality process end to end, thinks outside the box and likes solving complex problems.

What would you do:

• Own the E2E quality of 2 BE teams and specific projects
• Work closely with 2 clients team on specific features domain
• Define E2E testing requirements (scenarios, conditions, testing types, metrics for monitoring)
• Execute E2E manual tests
• Automate E2E regression
• Research automation tools and infrastructure for improvement 
• Review plans and consult junior QAs
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in test automation and integrate new tools and techniques as appropriate.
• Promote a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to address quality issue
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage through automation and manual testing where necessary.
