Senior Quality Engineer - II

We are looking for an experienced and driven Senior Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing API testing frameworks and frontend automation. With 6 to 10 years of experience in the field, the candidate should be adaptable, open-minded, and proficient in at least one programming language. A solid understanding of microservices architecture and performance testing is essential. Experience with pytest and familiarity with supply chain systems is a plus. 

Responsibilities: 

• Develop and maintain effective API testing frameworks. 
• Contribute to the design and execution of frontend automation strategies to ensure the user interface meets high-quality standards. 
• Support quality assurance projects, contributing to the team's success. ● Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery of software products. 
• Provide guidance to junior quality engineers and promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement. 
• Conduct thorough testing of microservices to ensure reliability and performance. ● Assist in the development of test plans, test cases, and test scripts. 
• Analyze test results, identify issues, and collaborate with developers to resolve defects. ● Apply a solid understanding of performance testing concepts and tools like Gatling, JMeter, or Blazemeter to evaluate application performance and recommend improvements. 
• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in quality engineering. Requirements: 
• 6 to 10 years of experience in quality engineering or a related field. 
• Proven experience in developing API testing frameworks. 
• Strong knowledge of frontend automation tools and practices. 
• Experience in contributing to quality assurance projects. 
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript). ● Good understanding of microservices architecture. 
• Solid understanding of performance testing principles. 
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 
• Open-minded and adaptable to evolving challenges and technologies. ● Excellent communication and teamwork skills. 

Preferred Skills: 

• Experience with pytest. 
• Familiarity with supply chain systems and processes. 
• Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Basic knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker andKubernetes.
