As a Senior QA Representative at Tamatem, you will be responsible for testing all game features, including functional, non-functional, and localization aspects. This role involves conducting daily cycles/smoke tests and user acceptance tests, documenting any game bugs, analyzing and reviewing discrepancies, and confirming that all fixes have been properly implemented.
Requirements
You have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in quality assurance, ideally in mobile game testing.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and game development processes.
- Hands-on experience with Xcode and Android Studio for building, deploying, and debugging mobile applications.
- Proficiency in using API testing tools (such as Postman)
- Proficiency in using issue tracking software (such as Jira)
- Proficiency in using Test cases management tool (such as QASE , TestRail)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Passion for mobile games and player experience.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Nice to Have:
- CTFL (Certified Tester Foundation Level) certification.
- Familiarity with automation testing tools for mobile applications.
- Familiarity with Agile development processes.
- Familiarity with database testing and writing SQL queries.
- Familiarity with security testing.
You will
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality mobile games through thorough testing processes.
- Test mobile games on iOS and Android, ensuring they meet performance and usability standards.
- Build, deploy, and manage game versions using Xcode and Android Studio for iOS and Android platforms.
- Perform functional, regression, usability, compatibility, and performance testing across various devices and operating systems.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues by capturing and analyzing logs, identifying root causes, and collaborating with development teams for resolution.
- Monitor and analyze network traffic using proxy tools to catch potential issues
- Monitor game performance metrics such as FPS, memory usage, and battery consumption.
- Validate API integration and backend functionality to ensure stable game performance.
- Validate game analytical data to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Write, maintain, and execute detailed test cases and reports.
- Track, document, and prioritize bugs using Jira while communicating findings effectively to stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with product, project and development teams to understand game features and requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in testing processes and quality assurance strategies.
- Analyze player feedback to identify and troubleshoot potential quality issues.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, grooming and sprint planning meetings
