Historically a quant agency, we’ve shifted our working style considerably over the past 10 years, aiming to be much more creative and fluid in both our design and delivery. This means we blend advanced quant techniques with a wide range of qualitative (on and offline) approaches as a matter of course. To support this transition we set-up specialist qual teams which, has proven to be extremely successful, and consistently delivered ahead of expectations.
We’re now seeking an exceptional qualitative researcher to work as a hands-on Senior Research Manager in the Shanghai Qual team who can conduct end-to-end qualitative research independently as well as being proficient in designing well thought out research designs.
Requirements
The Role
This will be a highly visible role, working across many of our China client accounts.
Key responsibilities will include; attending business meetings (mainly in support of the existing account teams), planning individual projects from start to finish, being hands on in terms of fieldwork (moderating workshops/focus groups/ODIs etc), client liaison and report writing as well as supervising junior researchers within your various project teams. You’ll be expected to support, and take the lead if necessary, in the above areas, driving new thinking and ensuring that MMR’s deliverables are of the highest possible quality – we’re a premium research business and we’re committed to delivering above client expectations!
As the most senior member of the small qual team, there will be an element of managing the juniors.
