You bring to Applaudo the following competencies:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- 5+ years of QA Functional experience.
- Testing process: defining quality assurance strategy, test planning and execution, defect tracking and reporting.
- Functional testing: testing individual features, user interfaces, APIs, integrations and system workflows.
- Experience with tools for mobile-based applications such as device farms, emulators, simulators, physical devices (For iOS and Android).
- Experience with Automation Testing tools and frameworks (This is a plus).
- Working knowledge in performance testing (This is a plus).
- Attention to detail, analytical and logical reasoning.
- Team collaboration and proactivity.
- Willingness to learn new things continuously and adapt to changes.
- Advanced english is a requirement, as you will be working directly with US-based clients.
You will be accountable for the following responsibilities:
- Provide service to assigned clients in designing, implementing and executing test cases.
- Develop and review test policies and test strategies for the company.
- Plan the test activities based on test objectives and risks.
- Coordinate the test plans with project managers, development managers, agile teams and others.
- Initiate the analysis, design, implementation, and execution of tests, monitor test progress, results and check the status of exit criteria (or definition of done).
- Prepare and deliver test progress reports and test summary reports.
- Introduce suitable metrics for measuring test progress and evaluating the quality of the testing.
- Report any findings, defects or ambiguities, and help with the prioritization and criticality definition.
- Support the selection and implementation of tools to support the test process.
- Promote and advocate the testers, the test team, and the test profession within the organization.
- Coach the team to improve technical skills.
