We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer (Mobile) to join the QA Team. You'll be a part of a product team working for one of the world's biggest investment banks. We need an aspiring and creative test leader to join the mobile development group. You'll be in charge of testing of one of the most awarded mobile trading terminals on the planet; and we want to make it even better - together.
We expect the Senior QA Engineer (Mobile) to:
- act as an subject matter expert for your peers and the leader for the whole testing group,
- design and implement reliable, agile testing practices,
- participate in product planning, grooming and management,
- evangelise best testing practices and approaches to project team,
- evaluate, monitor, and report to key stakeholders,
- help your team grow and improve as engineers.
Must-have skills:
- have a proactive attitude to problem-solving and lead by example;
- have excellent communication skills: you feel good speaking to people and can articulate the progress, problems, and plans of your team for different audiences, from engineers to stakeholders.
- can demonstrate hands-on knowledge of modern testing methodologies, concepts, and practices. You'll have to help people make proper decisions.
- have enough testing experience with 4+ years of experience in a similar role:
- Senior QA automation engineer
- Lead QA engineer
- Test Lead, or Test Manager
- have advanced experience in mobile testing:
- OS guidelines (HIG, MD), platform-specific UI/UX principles
- OS architecture: processes, services, permissions
- app distribution systems (Google Console, TestFlight)
- device management and emulation systems
- app performance and crash analytics systems
- solid understanding of CI/CD concepts
- have experience with Agile practices and ceremonies, or even a certification
- last, but not least: you consider empathy and collaboration your most effective tools as a leader and engineer
Nice-to-have skills:
- Hands-on experience in test automation (Appium, XCUITest, Espresso...)
- FinTech testing or a trading background
- A11y - practical knowledge or certificate
