This role is required to sit in Bangalore and will be Hybrid.

Job Description & Qualifications

We are looking for a sharp and driven QA Engineer who will be responsible for creating and supporting the planning, design, and execution of test plans, test scripts, and process plans for projects.

What you will be able to do

Complete ownership of making sure that we are shipping high-quality product
Review requirements, specifications, user documentation, help files, and other project documentation to assure the quality of the products and tests to be developed; i.e., perform manual static testing
Select and develop appropriate test automation tools, applying the latest techniques in test automation; e.g., data-driven testing
Use risk-driven techniques to develop, maintain, and execute automated test suites for various Software Cafeteria products; i.e., perform automated dynamic testing
Work with the Development team to capture and reuse automated Unit Test Cases, Test Stubs and Drivers, and other Development test objects
Participate in the Change process to identify the quality implications of known bugs and the impact of proposed changes to product definition on the testing process
Ensure proper version control and configuration management of all test objects developed and test environments used
Trace test cases and results back to specific quality risks
Perform other testing-related duties as required

The minimum requirement we seek

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or a related field
4 + years of related experience as Test Automation Engineer
Proficiency in Java/Python, Selenium and Cucumber.

Work Timings: This is currently a remote, full-time (40 hours per week) position, and you can choose your hours. All we ask is that you plan to overlap around ~4 hours per day with the rest of the Electriphi India team because hey, knowing and working with the team is important to break a couple of legs and brace yourself to return to the Bangalore office when we are both feeling safe and secure

Paid Off: The position includes 6 weeks (24 days) of paid time off, plus 10 additional days for local national holidays.
