Position Overview

Diligent is looking for a talented Senior QA Automation Engineer working on the development and maintenance of Diligent Entities product. This position is a key position to strengthen and speed up our automation efforts to shorten our feedback loops and to enable more frequent, on-demand releasability of our software. This position is an integrated part of a cross functional development team and will work closely with software engineers and QA Analysts in the team.

Key Responsibilities

Automated testing (using Robot Framework or similar) of our existing test suites and new feature test suites
Support manual functional, regression and cross-browser exploratory testing
Understands specifications and can draw up test scenarios and create regression test cases with the responsibility for the test asset library and updates test cases as needed
Executes test cases and analyses test results. Interrogating failed scenarios and accurately record defects following them through to resolution
Static review of the work of others, documenting issues, and providing constructive feedback. This will include a review of user stories, system requirements, and functional tests
Generates test approaches and provides test estimates for work to be completed.

Required Experience/Skills

Degree, or equivalent, in Computer Science, Mathematics or similar discipline
Strong working experience of QA, test concepts, best practice, and technology
5+ years of automated testing experience in testing web applications
Experience of test management tools (e.g. JIRA, Zephyr)
Good communication and collaboration skills – able to explain and champion the principles of a quality deliverable

Preferred Experience/Skills

ISQTB Foundation Certificate
Programming experience in JavaScript/Typescript
Experience with JMeter
Experience with Playwright
Inquisitive and curious mindset
