Senior QA Automation Engineer (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer (m/f/d) with experience in software test automation and the creation of test concepts, willing to join our Vienna office. The role requires the ability to fully understand business requirments and translate them into test cases and user acceptance test, prior to automation. The ideal candidate is passionate about software testing.

THE CHALLENGE:

  • Interpretation of business requirements, refinement, and feedback to the product team
  • Creating Test cases and user acceptance tests based on business requirements
  • Plan, execute, and report testing activities against functional requirements including regressions, performance, and system integration
  • Execute final acceptance testing
  • Provide support to the product team with testing newly created product features/functionality
  • Close communication with the QA team, development team, product team, and management often located in other offices around the world
  • Multiple professional years (5+) of software testing experience
  • Extended experience (3+) in writing automated tests for Web Applications and REST APIs
  • Good knowledge of OOP and one programming/scripting language (Python, JavaScript or similar)
  • Technically oriented, proactive, and enthusiastic, with attention to detail
  • Experience using a testing-related toolset (JIRA, GIT, Jenkins, TestRail, etc.)
  • Experience with agile/interactive development methodology (SCRUM) 
  • Individual with the ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and technologies
  • Good spoken and written communication skills in English, and German is considered as plus

Good to have: 

  • Mobile Application testing experience 
  • Ability to test system performance and stability
  • ISTQB certification 
  • Experience with CI/CD and Docker
