Who you are:
- A QA automation engineer with a minimum of 2 years of experience utilizing Java.
- Someone developing test automation for both Web and Backend Applications within an Agile environment.
- A self-starter, you possess strong knowledge of testing principles and a solid understanding of database concepts and Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs).
- An expert in various test phases, such as functional, integration, and regression testing.
- A person who actively engages in implementing QA processes from start to finish, including requirements analysis, and automation, ensuring thorough participation throughout.
- Proficient in test automation frameworks such as CypressIO, Selenium, Protractor, or TypeScript.
What you will do:
- Use expertise to contribute and take ownership of QA deliverables.
- Interact with vendors, developers, and internal stakeholders to work on initiatives within the global QA team.
- Use Agile methodologies.
- Be responsible for creating test harnesses and infrastructure.
- Set up CI/CD environments using modern integration tools.
- Take part in frequent code testing, and deployment iterations with a focus on quality and delivery times.
- Document and communicate key issues and status updates regularly.
- Work to develop the best technical design and approach to test applications at scale.
- Utilize your strong verbal and written communication skills in English, along with a team-oriented approach. Show your ability to solve problems and think analytically, as well as demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and multitasking capabilities.
It would be awesome if you had:
- Experience working with Python.
- Hands-on experience with Cucumber and/or Behavior-Driven Development (BDD)/Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Developed test automation for Backend applications using REST Assured.
- Demonstrated an understanding of testing concepts and proficient knowledge of database concepts.
- A Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
