QUALITY ASSURANCE

What We Do

The Quality Assurance team owns the testing process, risk management, and quality evaluation of all products and functions across Epic. Our team works closely with developers and production to ensure the best possible user experience for our community and customers.

What You'll Do

The eCommerce foundation team is looking for a Senior QA Analyst, who will be a multi-threaded Quality owner for projects, features, and existing functionality across different teams and products. The QA Analyst creates and executes test plans to validate the quality of projects, coordinates with engineers to determine various aspects that need testing, manages the testing process, and syncs results with project stakeholders. Additionally, they will collaborate with other analysts to help identify and resolve technical issues, analyze outstanding defect load and identify new areas of testing and prioritization, as well as recommend appropriate quality assurance processes. In this role, you will work closely with our Engineering and Production teams to drive long-term validation processes for critical Epic initiatives. This role is with the eCommerce foundation team, the team owns a series of foundation services which are widely involved by other teams/stakeholders and a critical path for the company. You will contribute to the majority of Epic’s initiatives ensuring product quality and impact on the existing systems.

In this role, you will

  • Participate in requirements analysis and design for new projects, plan test scenarios, and write test cases
  • Maintain and improve existing test cases
  • Proactively identify and point out issues that need improvement, lowering release risks through issue communication
  • Collaborate with developers, business units, and other QA team members to ensure testing efficiently and effectively covers all possible test scenarios
  • Set good examples of testing standards, collaborate with other QAs to standardize and organize testing documents
  • Identify problems, analyze root causes, manage issue tracking, and work with development engineers to resolve issues
  • Conduct a mix of manual and automated testing for different products and platforms

What we're looking for

  • Experience in testing across multiple platforms (desktop, mobile, etc.)
  • Proficient in software testing theory, with a deep understanding of quality assurance methods, tools, and best practices
  • Strong logical analysis skills, ability to quickly identify and solve problems
  • Ability to write efficient test cases based on complex systems and functionalities
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, automation testing, and proficiency in writing test scripts in one or more programming languages
  • Good oral and written communication skills in English, with strong organizational and coordination abilities and a strong sense of responsibility
