Senior Python SWE - Data and Models

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable, efficient data pipelines that automate the ingestion, transformation, and storage of data
- Translate data science prototypes into production-ready code, ensuring reliability and performance.
- Develop microservices that expose machine learning or information retrieval algorithms.
- Contribute in identifying performance bottlenecks and improving systems scalability.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and methodologies in both software engineering and data science, and apply them to improve team practices.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Python, along with experience in widely-used Python frameworks.
- Solid understanding of software development principles and architectural best practices.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP or Azure.
- Proficiency in using Docker, Kubernetes, or similar containerization and orchestration tools.
- Proven experience in designing and developing APIs and microservices.
- Proficiency in SQL with hands-on experience in working with relational databases.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications (in order):
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts and libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, PyTorch).
- Experience with information retrieval systems like Elasticsearch.
- Familiarity with messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies.
- Experience with Java and widely-used Java frameworks.
