Trilogy Federal is looking for a motivated and independent Senior Project Manager to support a variety of projects across a large program. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing projects and will demonstrate a strong desire to embrace leadership and management responsibilities within our team. The selected candidate will support multiple projects focused on improving healthcare for Veterans. 

Please note: This position is remote but candidates who are local to Arlington, VA area are preferred as they may need to come into the Trilogy office approximately once every 1-2 months. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a senior-level resource on multiple projects providing guidance and mentorship to team members. 
  • Lead a variety of projects and workstreams, shifting efforts according to changing business needs. 
  • Provide thought leadership on project approaches and potential areas of support, translating client goals into actionable steps. 
  • Learn business processes, systems, and goals to develop a deep understanding of the client environment.  
  • Conduct and support staff onboarding and orientation to the client environment. 
  • Support program management activities, assist in managing teaming partner contributions and relationships, and mentor and coach junior staff for career growth and development. 
  • Develop and deliver presentations and reports to leadership and cross functional business/technical teams covering project status, risks, issues, and strategies.   
  • Compile project-related metrics and track applicable implementation and/or deployment task activities for reporting to leadership. 
  • Develop and maintain program management artifacts and weekly reports that include status of program activities and risks, issues, and decisions related to program activities. 
  • Provide guidance and leadership to direct reports, supporting them in fulfilling project responsibilities and thinking creatively about client needs, helping with problem solving and identification of existing resources, and supporting their professional development and growth. 
  • Support the documentation and maturation of both internal and client-facing management processes. 
  • Support Trilogy corporate initiatives for staff development and company growth through business development efforts. 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. 
  • Minimum 8 years total experience with a minimum of 6 years of experience supporting a large corporation or government agency, and a minimum of 2 years supervisory experience. 
  • PMP certification. 
  • Prior federal consulting experience. 
  • Documented success leading projects.  
  • Demonstrated experience and success in mentoring and guiding team members toward achieving common goals. 
  • Demonstrated experience developing briefings and reports, developing project management artifacts, facilitating working sessions, and presenting to diverse stakeholder audiences. 
  • Ability to think about projects holistically to identify next steps and courses of action that will support the client’s goals. 
  • Agility and ability to change course based on shifting plans, priorities, and timelines. 
  • Eagerness to take on leadership responsibilities and contribute to the strategic direction of the team. 
  • A keen interest in healthcare projects. 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. 
  • Strong attention to detail. 
  • The ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in healthcare administration or other applicable degree area. 
  • Prior experience working in a healthcare organization (e.g., hospital, health system, health insurance company, military health etc.). 
  • Availability to work from the Trilogy offices in Arlington, VA approximately once every 1-2 months.
